Things to do
When it comes to tourism, and visiting places, FREE is my mantra! and "me love places where visiting = 0$" , here is my list of free things to do and other non-free things
1. Take a free walking tour of Willemstad
Few people know about free walking tours, but they exist in most touristic places and I ALWAYS do them because they are free *tip-based*, usually made of smaller groups or just YOU, and guides are locals who genuinely want you to know about the places and their cultures.
Our guide was a Curacao native (Indian) and was really knowledgeable about Curacao's history, places and things to do. The tour lasts 2 hours and will take you to all the main places you need to see (e.g. Queen Emma Bridge, Kura Hulanda, Waterfront, Pietermaai district etc.)

2. Visit the Old Market aka Plasa Bieu
This is a MUST if you want to taste local dishes. Indeed, Old Market is where you will find authentic and really cheap Curacaoan food! Beware of the hours before going, they might be closed.

3. Please, do get lost
Willemstad is fairly secure, so take a stroll through the city and walk your way through it. You will discover amazing rural art and cute colourful streets even your camera will be jealous of.

Don't think because this article is short that there is nothing to do in Curacao. There is plenty!!! I just did not have my phone with me so lost all my notes on good places to go, eat and visit but I found these blogs that are well-written and quite useful so enjoy!
Please do get out of the city and go to beaches, caves (if not claustrophobic) and get around the island.
