Dress great for less

GIKOMBA MARKET

Although deemed to be the cheapest and the largest in East Africa, , I honestly didn't find the hustle worth the trip. However, I have to admit they have quite some good articles at good prices (though not necessarily cheaper than other markets) Its shoes alley was paraaaadise to me.  I strongly advise you to go there with a local (which I did) unless you speak Swahili. It's not the safest place to be so do use a lot of precaution

Thrift shopping is a culture in many African countries and is heavily present on the Kenyan scene as well. With a young crowd always on the edge of fashion open-markets are always crowded and “the” place for many fashion influencers. I ranked the markets I have been to from the cheapest to the most expensive and from general shopping to Kenyan crafts’ shopping. They are great treasures. Check them out :) & read this article on how to get ready for thrift shopping in a African market
